On autobiographical legacies

A.A. Dutto (2016). The Saint and the Architect. Conjectures on the autobiography from Loyola to Rossi. LOBBY (The Bartlett School of Architecture), 5, 116-119.

Aldo Rossi and Ignazio di Loyola: the architect and the saint. Both are authors of autobiographies that describe not only the events of their life but how their experience is the result of a project. This essay shows some features of the autobiography as a tool of construction and legitimization of the author. Moreover, Rossi's architecture is depicted as expression of an autobiographical project.
